Di Simo - caffè e vini

The exterior of Di Simo features a bright, deep red facade that stands out against the surrounding stone buildings of the Saint Lorenz district. This narrow café occupies a building that survived the intense bombing raids of nineteen forty-five, which leveled most of the neighborhood. While much of Nuremberg was rebuilt from scratch, the walls here held. The owners maintained the intimate, wood-paneled interior for decades, preserving a small pocket of pre-war atmosphere in the heart of the reconstructed city.
