Ca'n Oleza

historic

The facade of Ca'n Oleza is marked by a heavy, rounded stone archway and a delicate double-arched window supported by a slender column. This seventeenth century palace stands as one of the finest examples of a Majorcan noble house. The Oleza family, wealthy merchants who rose into the aristocracy, commissioned the structure to showcase their status. A marble fountain still sits in the central courtyard, where sunlight filters down through a deep well of stone carved by generations of artisans.
