The three-story facade of Ca'n Oms features a rhythmic arrangement of stone balconies and a deep, shadowed portal that opens into a hidden courtyard. Built in the late sixteenth century, this mansion served as the seat of the Oms family, local aristocrats who held significant influence in Palma. Don Joan de Oms once famously refused to lower his family crest during a civic dispute, keeping it prominently displayed over the entrance as a sign of his defiance against the local authorities.
