Can Bordils features a gothic stone facade that dates back to the thirteenth century, marking it as the oldest house in Palma. The building sits atop original Roman foundations, serving as a rare survivor of the city's medieval layout. In the late fifteen hundreds, a scholar named Bartomeu Coch purchased the residence and added the elegant courtyard that defines its interior. Today, it houses the municipal archives, holding centuries of legal records and city history behind those heavy, weathered wooden doors.
