Casal Solleric

The Casal Solleric stands out for the intricate wrought iron balcony that wraps around its corner, featuring the coat of arms of the Morell family. Built in the mid-eighteenth century, this palace served as a private residence for Marquis Alexandre de Morell. He hired Italian architects to design the facade, which defied local construction norms by using stone from the nearby village of Santanyi. Beneath the grand entrance arch, the ceiling holds a massive, carved wooden medallion depicting a sun.
