The glass factory known as Gordiola stands out because of its sprawling, honey-colored stone facade and the tall chimneys that hint at furnaces burning inside since seventeen nineteen. For three centuries, the Gordiola family has practiced the art of hand-blown glass, pulling molten material from ovens to shape it into the traditional iridescent vases and chandeliers that define Balearic craftsmanship. A master glassmaker named Barnat Gordiola founded the workshop after learning techniques in Venice, bringing those secrets home to the island.
